Prestige selection wines are blended from Josmeyer's most favoured vineyards in Wintzenheim, Turckheim and Wettolsheim. The grapes are hand-picked and carefully chosen from vines a minimum of 35 years old.
This cuvee signs the foundation of the Domain in 1854.
Supple, chewy and surprisingly dry, even a bit youthfully aggressive, with fruit salad flavours currently dominated by brisk acidity.
Serve with mushroom - lentils - beans - risotto - meat terrine - veal mountain cheese (vacherin, reblochon, St Nectaire).
